We work with a number of local business along the St. OSwald’s Way. The Jolly Fisherman is the finish point of the 53km. A very well respected bar restaurant which has a long and illustrious history. They make a great atmosphere for the 53km finishers and aid station for those continuing along the way.

Bertrams Cafe is owned and ran by outdoors enthusiasts one of which is a strong Ultra runner. They provide the aid station at Warkworth which is also a bag drop point. The cafe is flourishing within the community because they have amazing food in a fantastic venue. A great place to pay a visit if you are passing through.

Northumberland Arms

Northumberland Arms Felton is our Aid station on route to Rothbury where if you are lucky you get here before the sun goes down. Northumberland Arms was fully refurbished a few years ago and provides outstanding food and a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere for all. They bring the soup and warm homemade bread out for the runners as they pass through.

The Anglers Arms is your last chance for refreshments on route to Rothbury and the 100km finish. A specialist traditional establishment, many of the locals come down to support the aid station and see the runners coming through which proves for a fantastic atmosphere, especially as they walk back home along the trail.

In 2014 Tomlinson’s set themselves a bench mark which is hard to exceed. If you reach here before dark you are at the front end of the race. If you arrive here after dark you will likely not want to leave. A great welcome and party atmosphere awaits together with warm food and lots of drinks!

George Hotel logo

The 100 mile distance finish is the George Hotel Chollerford. This is also our event HQ and normal pre-registration point. An amazing scenic backdrop and great facility for the family who can buy day passes for the spa and pool. They will keep the fire burning ready for your arrival.
